As a blanket of snow sweeps across the nation, we're all adding layer upon layer in a bid to stay warm. With the colder weather not leaving us any time soon, we're looking at ways to keep us nice and toasty without the need to turn our heating on full blast. And while we have Oodies, electric blankets and more, this 'godsend' product from Amazon is a genius way to heat our hands and feet up. Some shoppers are so impressed with it they say they 'wish I'd had this sooner'.

Shinee One's Foot Warmer looks like a pair of slippers at first but it's in fact a two-in-one hot water bottle specifically designed to heat up your feet (and hands) which is perfect for those who feel the cold super easily or those who work from home and find slipper socks aren't quite cutting it.

The foot warmer features a heel design, meaning your feet will remain snug without feeling the cold breeze, and it has been made with plush, fluffy lining to ensure maximum cosiness.

With two feet compartments, the gadget can fit sizes 5-8 and the hot water bottle attachment - which can be used alone as a hot water bottle or together with the warmer - features a diagonal stripe design to prevent scalding. Simply fill the water bottle up with hot water and you're all set to go.

Earning a 4.5 star review on Amazon, this winter warmer has received high praise from those who scooped up this device ahead of the cold weather and have complimented it as being the perfect antidote for chillier conditions.

One wrote: "The price is worth it because the quality of the fur is great. Nothing goes wrong when you pop it in the washing machine, very comfortable the inside fur stays in a neat smooth position so your not sweating uncomfortable or sticky.

"It is really like a warm Teddy around you! I didn't have any problem with the stitching. It gives way for you to turn position when lying down. The outside is more fluffy then the inside which is really good because the inside gives off a good amount of heat. Stays warm for hours of reading, I watched a movie on the laptop and it was still warm at the end! The comfort is truly lovely. I need to get more for when ones in the washing machine. I wouldn't be without it this winter. Very cost effective aswell."

Another added: "I don’t know how I coped before I got this. It’s perfect for those cold working from home days where you don’t want to put the heating on!"

With a number of heaters being electric, many shoppers commented on the fact that these emanated heat more naturally - with hot water - meaning no wires roaming around.

"This is the cosiest thing I have ever put my feet into! It's basically a square hot water bottle in a super-fluffy cover, with 2 pouches fixed on the top to put your feet into. You may think it's no different from just putting your feet on a hot water bottle, but you'd be wrong - the foot compartments trap in all that lovely warmth, and makes it feel as though your feet are enveloped in soft, cosy warmness."

They added: "I work from home and just pop this under my desk in the morning to use whenever my feet need a warmup during the day. It holds heat very well - by mid-afternoon I can still feel some warmth in the feet pouches. I'm very much in love with this, as are my lovely snug feet! Wish I'd got one sooner!"

One of the only downsides some customers experienced was that the foot warmer was a tad too snug - 'smaller than advertised'.

For something a little more high tech and a gadget that wraps your feet and ankles in a fleece, Dunelm's Electrical Mono Fleece Slipper, £45, has five stars across the board and is essentially an electric blanket for your feet.

You can go one step further and add a massager into the mix with Menkind's heated foot massager, which comes with a sherpa lined foot warmer, here, for £30. To keep your feet warm whilst on the move, these Amazon Hothands foot warmers are to be put in your shoes and last for hours.
