A New York woman has revealed the best dating hack she swears by to find friendships as well as love, claiming it ‘works every time.’ Coco Schiffer, a longtime talent manager and self-described virtual stylist, offered her game-changing advice to her TikTok followers, amassing almost 90,000 views as singletons everywhere looked to her video for ‘the one’ direction.

Speaking from her own experience, she told viewers how her simple trick really works: “Do y’all want to know the best dating hack ever? Best dating tip? Best way to get dates?” she asks, before admitting that the secret lies in one simple word: ‘Follow.”

After recounting her own personal journey of moving from Los Angeles to New York, she discussed how trying to make connections and date in a new city could be tough, however she decided to take the matter into her own hands, and when friends suggested people she should connect with, she immediately followed them on Instagram: “Instead of just waiting for them to make the introduction, I was like, ‘What’s their Instagram? Let me just follow them,'” she revealed.

After admitting she was excited to ‘date and meet new people' she then told how she went on a following spree: “I was just jamming that follow button on Instagram all day long. I can not tell you how many dates and new friends I made doing that – it feels so risky for some reason. But, y’all, just follow them,” she advised.

She even believed in the process for private accounts, or for those who accept follower requests weeks later: “Y’all will watch each other’s s*** for a couple of weeks. Eventually … they’ll reach out, they’ll respond to a story,” she told followers.

And after showing viewers that she was currently sitting in a ski chalet on holiday in France with her boyfriend, she told of her personal success after meeting him in that way: “The saga is, y’all need to follow them, OK? Mark my words. It works every time. Best dating tip ever. Let me know how it goes.”

With more than 7k viewing her video, some were clearly thrilled to receive her insider info, with some saying they were taking it as ‘a sign’ and many saying how true it was, as it had clearly worked for them.

Others were quick to ask for additional advice, however, with one saying: “Idk who to follow!” And another asking: “Then what do you say?” One admitted: “I followed him – you better not be wrong about this!” while another said: “I do this! And it’s worked for every aspect of my life. Especially business, but also dates and celebs. Wild!”
