Liverpool were not in Premier League action over the weekend due to the winter break.
Jurgen Klopp's side last played on Wednesday in the Carabao Cup against Fulham and do not return until they travel to Bournemouth this Sunday. There were five top-flight fixtures across the weekend, but Liverpool remain at the top of the Premier League, though Manchester City have jumped to second after beating Newcastle.
While the Reds haven't had a match, rumours have been swirling about potential January incomings as Klopp tries to bolster his squad for the remainder of the season. Liverpool are much more likely to do business in the summer but could be tempted to bring some players in this month.
With that in mind, here are the latest rumours from Anfield.
Jordan Henderson is in "serious talks" over a move to Ajax as he plots a route out of Saudi Arabia.

The 33-year-old left Liverpool and joined Steven Gerrard's Al-Ettifaq in the summer but the England international is already looking for a move away from the Dammam-based outfit. Henderson has struggled with the blistering heat and is far from impressed with the standard of football and low attendances in Saudi.
But Ajax are interested in signing Henderson and are ready to offer him an 18-month deal to leave Al-Ettifaq. Juventus remain keen but Ajax believe they have the upper hand because they want to do a permanent deal, rather than a loan which the Old Lady are offering.
Speaking before Ajax's game against Go Ahead Eagles on Sunday, boss John van't Schip told ESPN: "There is serious talk going on with Henderson. He still has some things to arrange in Saudi Arabia. It could be a nice match. It's no secret that we could really use that type of player. Other guys can benefit from that."

Anthony Patterson has impressed for Sunderland (Getty Images)Jurgen Klopp has identified Sunderland's Anthony Patterson as a potential replacement for Caoimhin Kelleher should the Liverpool goalkeeper leave the club in the summer.
Kelleher has two-and-a-half years left on his contract at Anfield, but Liverpool would be willing to sell the Republic of Ireland international if their asking price of £20million is met. The 24-year-old is a long-term target of Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers and was linked with a move to Brentford last summer.
In the case that Kelleher does depart, Klopp is eyeing Sunderland shot-stopper Patterson as a possible target, having impressed for the Black Cats after breaking into the team. Patterson has made over 100 appearances in a Sunderland shirt and helped them to reach the Championship play-offs last season.

Bruno Guimaraes has been linked with a move to Liverpool (Getty Images)Liverpool have been dealt a boost in their hopes of signing Bruno Guimaraes after it emerged that the Reds could sign the Newcastle midfielder for £32 per season over the next three years.
Guimaraes, 25, has been a target of the Reds over the past 12 months after impressing at St James' Park. The Brazilian, however, signed a new five-year contract in October to put those rumours behind him.

But Newcastle's financial situation could change Guimaraes' situation. This is after the Magpies recorded reported losses of £73.4m earlier this week and Eddie Howe may have to sell one of his star assets - such as Guimaraes - in the summer in an attempt to balance their books.
And according to AS, Guimaraes 'agreed' to a release clause in his contract worth £98m, which is payable in three instalments of £32m. Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona and Chelsea have been noted as potential destinations for Guimaraes, who has featured in 19 Premier League matches this season.
