Cricket's identity on The Masked Singer 'exposed' as chart-topping singer
Cricket's identity has been 'exposed' on The Masked Singer after a new performance tonight.
The character took to the stage tonight for another performance, with the judges - Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, Rita Ora and Davina McCall - having previously guessed the person to be Levi Roots, Simon Webbe, Eddy Grant and Lemar. However, fans have thrown a new name into the mix this evening as Cricket performed once more.
Taking to social media to give their verdicts, some fans are convinced they now know who Cricket is after they sang their own version of Rhythm of the Night during tonight's episode of the ITV show.
Cricket performed once again tonight (ITV)Giving their opinion on the celebrity's identity, one wrote: "I'm with Olly! Me and my sister were saying how much the voice sounds like Lemar. It's a vocal hug when he sings. Plus cricket connection could be the Lemar Cricket Club in Frankfurt, cheers Google#MaskedSingerUK," whilst a second added: "A giant mouse is called a Lemur #MaskedSingerUK."
The clues so far for Cricket have included them seemingly putting on a fake posh accent whilst they also sang with a Jamaican accent. In one part of the VT, they had gold dust put on them by a make-up artist and kept using the word jolly.

They were also seen standing on a cricket pitch, with the numbers behind them including 'total 60' but could this give a clue to who they are or is this just a big red herring for the fans of the show?
One of their first clues was also: "I hope my performance was bowling you over, like when I got dizzy while perched on a sofa" but what does this mean - and what could the unknown person be referring to?
Judge Jonathan Ross recently revealed how he prepares for the ITV guessing show as it makes its return.
Asked what he does to prepare for the show, he said: "I write a big long list of people who I think, conceivably, either UK celebrities or Americans or people who are in the UK who might do the show and I make another list of people who I think absolutely wouldn't do it, because on the one hand you never know, and on the other hand it is good to guess an outrageous name.
"Then I'll do a list of comedy guesses just so I've got kind of lots of names at my fingertips. My best guess this year is Ryan Reynolds. He's in Wrexham a lot of the time now. You never know. I mean, he's up for a laugh!"
