Dan Burn took objection to the way Manchester City celebrated their opening goal against Newcastle United at St. James' Park.
Bernardo Silva backheeled home from a fantastic Kyle Walker cross, but the strike was not without controversy after Eddie Howe's men were adamant Anthony Gordon was the victim of a foul in the build-up. The former Everton forward was outmuscled off the pitch by Ruben Dias, but the hosts felt it was done unfairly.
54 seconds passed between the time Gordon claimed he was fouled by Dias and the ball actually hitting the back of the net, but VAR had no interest in chalking off the strike regardless. This was clearly to the frustration of Burn, who then proceeded to give the City players a piece of his mind.
While City's players were in a huddle celebrating, Burn made his way over, pointing his finger furiously at Dias for what he thought was a deliberate body charge on Gordon. There may have also been some frustration towards the officials for not allowing the Newcastle foward back onto the pitch sooner.
However, the Magpies defender wasn't angry for very long. Less than 10 minutes after Bernardo put the visitors in front, Alexander Isak drew the hosts level with a sensational finish.

The first-half was a breathless encounter that saw a number of flare-ups between players, including a running battle between Rodri and Bruno Guimaraes. First-choice City shot-stopper Ederson was also withdrawn inside the opening five minutes after picking up an injury following a clash with Sean Longstaff.
