A woman has come up with a genius and cheap way to make your windows and glass doors sparkle.

As the new year has begun, many of us will be sorting out our homes as part of the annual fresh start. It's no secret that many of us are holding out for January pay day after Christmas expenses meanwhile trying to stay afloat in the rising cost of living crisis. So, saving money where we can is essential.

A style, organisation, and cleaning hack lover Chantel Mila proves, you don't need a window cleaner to make your glass doors and windows shine. She has come up with the perfect solution to keep glass in the home clean without forking out a fortune.

It costs just 65p and sees grime and dirt disappear immediately. Speaking on her TikTok page, @mama_mila, who has 1.4million followers and has raked in over 22million likes, said: "Just wait until you see how much dirt it removed make your windows sparkle with this easy mix! Its been my go-for years and is so easy to make."

She uses a solution involving four cups of warm water, two cups of white vinegar, and half a cup of dish soap. You can get the warm water for free from your kitchen taps, or by using a kettle, Tesco sell white vinegar for 35p, and washing up liquid can be purchased from Sainsbury's at 35p.

Mila spreads the solution across the window then she uses a Karcher window vacuum to collect the dirty water.

Mila added: "This mix is powerful at cutting through grime and dirt, and leaves your windows steak-free and sparkling." Nice job," one individual commented on the video. Others have hailed Mila a "genius" for her savvy tips.
