Meghan Markle warned don't be 'greedy' with Suits salary and be 'grateful'
Meghan Markle has been warned against demanding a big salary if she returns to Suits, despite rumours she and Prince Harry are facing a financial crisis.
Patrick J. Adams sent the rumour mill into overdrive when he teased he and Meghan could return for a brand new spinoff of the hit legal drama. The actors left the show in the season seven finale as their characters Mike Ross and Rachel Zane tied the knot and moved to Seattle.
It's been suggested that Meghan could negotiate a fee in the range of £235,000-£314,000 per episode if she returns to Suits, but PR expert Ryan McCormick has warned against the Duchess of Sussex "getting greedy". Speaking to The Mirror, he suggested returning to the show could still be a smart career move.

"Meghan should be grateful for this opportunity and make it appoint to be kind and charming to everyone down to the production assistants on this program." Ryan said Meghan could negotiate "a healthy salary increase", but said this comes with some issues.
He continued: "Because Meghan's profile has risen considerably since her previous run, I think she should negotiate a healthy salary increase but, not get greedy. If she asks for too much money and the deal falls apart it will hurt her reputation."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are believed to be struggling financially (Harpo Productions/Joe Pugliese v)The Duchess of Sussex reportedly earned £37,000 per episode and recorded more than 100 episodes of Suits, putting her annual salary at £333,000. As part of her contract with the show, Meghan is still earning royalties from her appearances.
PR expert Mayah Riaz also believes it could be a "strategic move" for Meghan to return to Suits. Speaking about how much money Meghan could make from a Suits spinoff, Mayah told us: "In terms of her fee, given Meghan's increased profile since leaving Suits, it is reasonable to expect that her asking price would be significantly higher than her previous salary." She suggested the actress could negotiate a fee in the range of $300,000-$400,000 (£235,000-£314,000) per episode.
The money could be just what Meghan and Harry need, with one expert suggesting they are facing "financial challenges". Royal author Tom Bower pointed out how the couple have "no new income streams, no new companies". Speaking to Closer magazine, he added: "Everything they've attempted to do to relaunch themselves I think in the end has been utterly unsuccessful and has failed."
