Kim Kardashian has hit back at claims she was involved in the now-famous flour bomb attack at the red carpet launch of her perfume True Reflection.

The 42-year-old SKIMS founder was hit with a flour bomb while walking the red carpet back in 2012, with her chic black blazer, leather pants and long black hair ending up covered in white powder.

Kim and her momager Kris Jenner were taken to a nearby room to get cleaned up, with Kim later laughing off the ordeal.

At the time, the incident was linked to animal rights organisation PETA, however they denied any involvement.

Kim's former media strategist Sheeraz Hasan has now claimed the flour bombing was actually an inside job and said the Kardashian star was aware of what was going to happen.

Speaking in the Channel 4 documentary The Kardashians: Billion Dollar Dynasty, Sheeraz recalled asking Kim if she was "willing to get flour bombed" before the event and how he'd had "discussions" with her and her team.

A source currently close to Kim has now slammed Sheeraz's claims.

They exclusively told The Mirror: "This is false and Kim did not have knowledge of the situation prior to it happening. It’s unfortunate that lies are being told to create news."

Kim previously laughed off the incident and said it was "the craziest" thing to have happened to her.

"That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me. Like, I said to my makeup artist I wanted more powder and that’s a whole lot of translucent powder right there," she told E! Online.

Kim's sisters defended her online, with Khloe Kardashian tweeting: "I wish I was with my sister tonight. I bet you that woman wouldn’t have dared tried a thing."

She also retweeted TV presenter Giuliana Rancic, who commented: "So not cool about @KimKardashian getting flour bombed tonight. Such a mean thing to do to her. Kim’s a sweetheart."

This isn’t the first time that Sheeraz has talked about his time working with Kim.

In 2020, he opened up about the moment Kim asked him to make her famous.

"One of the first things she said to me when we met was, 'Sheeraz, I want to be one of the most famous people in the world'," he said on the BBC show Celebrity: A 21st Century Story.
