Michael Mosley's Fast 800 beef stir fry recipe is 'quick, easy and healthy'
It's that time of year when many of us are trying to cut back post Christmas and focus on eating a healthy diet.
TV star and doctor Michael Mosley has come up with a number of low-carb Mediterranean recipes - a lifestyle he swears by. His "quick and easy" The Fast 800 beef stir fry recipe is the perfect health dish that will leave you feeling full.
The dish serves two people, takes just 10 minutes to prepare all the ingredients, and a total of 15 minutes to cook.
Ingredients you will need include 250g beef sirloin - cut into strips - five sliced button mushrooms, 1cm of grated and fresh ginger, half a teaspoon of Chinese give spice, one peel and crushed garlic clove, 300g of broccoli cut into small florets, one chopped red pepper, two pak choi, one and a half teaspoon of tamari sauce, sea salt, black pepper.
Michael said: "This abundance of fresh ingredients means the food you make tastes as good as it looks, but it also boosts your health, so I urge you to continue to eat according to Mediterranean diet principles when you successfully lose weight.

Method
- Add half a teaspoon of olive oil to a large wok and place over a medium heat
- Add the beef and quickly brown it, remove from the wok before completely cooked through and set aside
- Eat the remaining olive oil in the wok and add the mushrooms, ginger, five spice and garlic and cook for approximately five minutes
- Next add in the broccoli, capsicum and pak choi and cook for an additional five minutes
- Return the beef strips to the wok and stir in the tamari
- Cook for an additional two minutes or until warm
- Divide in two and place half of the stir-fry into an airtight container and refrigerate
- Place the other half of the stir-fry into a serving bowl, season with salt and pepper and enjoy
