Premier League watch king Erling Haaland goes back in time with Breitling advert
Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland has been sent back in time - as he shoots an advert for luxury watch brand Breitling.
The Norwegian has been spotted filming for the Swiss brand down in London as City prepare to face Newcastle on Saturday. He was given an old leather football for the shoot, which also involved him walking down a cobbled street and sitting on a shoe box.
The Premier League's most devastating marksman could be seen wearing grey trousers and a beige fleece, as well as an overcoat for one part of the shoot. As well as sitting on the pavement, Haaland was pictured standing in front of a goal painted onto a wall. It being an advert for Breitling, Haaland was given a luxury watch worth £7,500 to wear during the shoot.
Expensive watches are nothing new to the giant Norwegian goal machine however, with Haaland boasting an insane personal collection. When it comes to Rolexes, Haaland knows the difference between a Smurf, a Hulk and a Daytona, while he's also been spotted rocking two Audemars Piguet numbers in the past: the £240k Royal Oak Salmon dial - one of only 300 ever made - and the yellow gold Royal Oak Jumbo 'Extra-Thin' 16202BA., itself worth a cool £280k.

Back in November, Haaland broke two major records within a matter of days. First, he became the fastest player to score 50 Premier League goals in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool. Three days later, the 23-year-old became the fastest to score 40 Champions League goals with a strike that sparked City's 3-2 comeback victory over RB Leipzig that clinched them top spot in Group G.
His form delighted boss Pep Guardiola, who hailed the Norwegian international. Up to Haaland's goal against Leipzig, Guardiola was unsure if his side would be able to win the game. "Again? I have to tell you again?. A thousand million times, I'm really impressed. They won today. Another record. Congratulations. He's a fantastic player. I tell you many times, we're really, really pleased," the City boss said.
"We love him, not just for the goals he scores, but for many many other things. I was not sure [about City winning]. The way we played in the first half I was not sure. Not because we are City and the last Champions League winner."You can’t take it for granted, you have to earn it and do it. The first half was not [good] even some moments in the second half. There are moments you have to be better. We will learn hopefully.”
City currently sit third in the table heading into their trip to St James' Park on Saturday night. They are five points adrift of Liverpool, who are in top spot, though they do have a game in hand over the Reds.
