EastEnders fans are worried there could be a double exit coming up on the BBC One soap.
Only recently, Whitney Dean discovered she was pregnant with partner Zack Hudson. Ahead of her leaving the BBC show for good, the character told Yolande Trueman about her turmoil after finding out she was pregnant again after a recent loss.
Soap watchers will recall that last year Whitney and Zack were devastated when they learned their unborn baby daughter had Edwards' syndrome. Whitney gave birth to daughter Peach after beginning the process of a termination, 18 weeks into the pregnancy.
In the aftermath, Whitney and Zach struggled with their loss and after they reunited, Whitney told him she didn't want to put her body through another pregnancy and wanted to look into adoption and fostering. But earlier this year, Whitney was shocked to learn she was pregnant again.

However, after a heart-to-heart with Yolande about her decision, Whitney decided to go through with the pregnancy. And on Wednesday's episode, soap watchers were left shocked when Whitney revealed she was 20-weeks pregnant.

Talking to partner Zack, the duo excitedly spoke about the 20-week scan, where Zack admitted: "I can't believe it's 20 weeks!" to which Whitney added: "Neither can I, I know my cycle has been all over the place but I can't believe I'm that far gone!"
Soap watchers were left stunned over the bombshell, especially as Whitney is set to leave the BBC One soap for good later in the year. Taking to social media, viewers are worried that with the baby news, Zack could leave Albert Square too in order to be with his family.
One person said: "Gonna miss Whitney when she leaves and obviously means Zach and Whitney will break up unless he leaves too", a different account added: "I really hope Zack doesn't leave with Whitney. Sharon needs someone who actually cares about her. #EastEnders" while another person said: "I'm telling you now Whitney is going to take that baby and leave Zack #Eastenders."

It comes after EastEnders boss, Chris Clenshaw, revealed Whitney will get a "Christmas miracle" ahead of her BBC One soap exit. Chris told Metro: "There’s a lot left to come for her. I can confirm that she will be leaving next year, into 2024. She and Zack have a big story, and they kind of get a little Christmas/New Year miracle."
