Love Island bosses have teased that the bombshells on the All Star series will be the most shocking yet - and they'll have endless gossip and 'stories to tell' about their fellow contestants.

Rumours about who will be taking part in the All Star spin-off have been swirling since the show was first confirmed in 2023 - with names from across the ten previous seasons being mentioned. Now, the names have finally been revealed - with some of the biggest bombshells of seasons past making their epic return to the famous villa.

Love Island host Maya Jama will be back to present the new season on Monday January 15 and joining her are former Love Island stars Georgia Harrison, Toby Aromolaran, Kaz Kamwi, Chris Taylor, Georgia Steel, Anton Danyluk, Hannah Elizabeth, Jake Cornish, Liberty Poole, Demi Jones, Luis Morrison, and Mitchel Taylor.

Although the stellar cast has already been revealed, there will be a series of bombshells also entering the villa from seasons past - and they are set to bring the drama. Speaking to The Mirror, an inside source revealed that there is a "huge pool" of former islanders to choose from to be the next bombshells in the villa - and all of them have dirt to dish.

"There is a big pool of stars to choose from. They come out here for 10 days at a time and we’ll drop them depending on how things are going in the villa. We let them know they might not make it to the show. Some of the contestants would only be a bombshell."

On the matter of the contestants already knowing each other, the insider insisted it won't be an issue, and instead, it will hopefully mean the series will be even more dramatic given that some of the contestants have secret romantic pasts.

"It won’t be an issue - some of the stories about who has got with who have not been in the press and they are wild. There are links to the people in the opening line-up and some of the bombshells we have coming in have stories to tell."

The TV insider added: "I’m excited about these backstories being aired as there’s things I didn’t know about and I want all these things to come out. If we can tell these stories on camera you aren’t going to want to miss it."

Teasing how different the All Stars series will be, the source also revealed that there will be no Casa Amor this year, and the final will be something Love Island fans have never seen before and are not expecting.

Love Island All Stars kicks off on January 15 at 9pm on 1TV2.
