90's boyband stars say stalker walked into family home and refused to leave
As members of a nineties boyband, Let Loose have had their fair share of highs and lows.
Now, with their upcoming tour on the horizon this year, the Mirror caught up with the trio which now comprises a new band member - Matthew James Pateman from Bad Boys Inc.
Originally, the group comprised Rob Jeffrey, Richie Wermerling and Lee Murray. However after the group disbanded in 1996, Richie attempted a solo career but failed to make the UK charts. In August last year, it was announced that Rob, Lee and Matthew were set to embark on a London tour this year and had released a song called If The World Was Ending.

Fans became so desperate to get close to their heartthrobs, that some would even pretend to be working as hotel staff and "wheel in food." Rob recalled a moment when a fan invited themselves into his parent's house and stayed for seven hours, despite the fact he was away on tour.
In an exclusive chat, he said: "Our management said don't let the fans in. Of course, as soon as we got on the bus and bu**ed up on the M1, my parents and Lee's parents let the fans in. They stole the toilet rolls from Lee's house for souvenirs. My mum and dad let some fans in, they couldn't get rid of them. Seven hours later, they couldn't get rid of them. I've had girls sleeping in the bushes outside my house. So back in the day when I woke up in the morning and I wanted to get a packet of cigarettes, I couldn't go down there in my old trackie bottoms and t-shirt, I had to put on the old leather trousers - they couldn't see you in the raw could they?"

Between 1994 and 1997 the original trio had three top ten hits and appeared on Top Of The Pops 11 times. After much consideration, both Lee and Rob were keen to get back on stage but Richie declined the offer. And it seems all three artists are keen to get themselves stage-ready before entertaining their fans. So much so, all three have become even more health conscious, with Matthew eating protein-only meals. He said: "Boys are more conscious now than they ever were about wanting to be fit and healthy it's not an aesthetic thing. My lungs have to be like an Olympic athlete."
Supporting his view, Rob added: "I've lost two and a half stone since September because the way I look at it I'm 50 (coughs) and when I go on stage the average age of our audience are like 45, so I can't go on as an old past it 50-year-old guy right. I've got to go on as a 50-year-old guy looking as good as I can be and pull it off right. I've got to walk on there looking my best and give them what they want in a way."
He continued: "Mine is if it breathed and it was picked I eat it, if its in colourful packaging, to me that's processed and I'm not touching it. What I found is you can eat as much as you like because you're eating the right kind of stuff and you can still lose weight. I've never been hungry."
And it was at this point that Matt added: "It's proteins and veggies at the end of the day no carbs. I've done that for years and I find that really gives me more energy. There is nothing worse than going on stage and you've just had a bid greasy pizza." Let Loose are also currently a huge part of a documentary film about the music industry in the 90’s. Looking back on how it was then and how it is today.
