EastEnders fans rumble what happened to George's biological parents in twist
George Knight's world could be rocked even more on EastEnders - as fans rumbled a heartbreaking twist about his biological parents.
The fan favourite character arrived on the Square a few months back as the partner of Linda's mum Elaine. He also had an unknown link to Walford, in the fact that his ex was Cindy Beale - but he had known her as Rose Knight.
George has had his world turned upside down by the arrival of his parents Gloria and Eddie, and whilst he always knew he was adopted, it has actually transpired that George was 'farmed' by his biological parents and his adoptive parents were paid to look after him. He had initially been told he was Jamaican but tonight it transpired that his parents were from Ghana.
George has been troubled by all that he has learned about his past in the last few days (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)In a heartfelt chat tonight, Gloria explained what really happened. She said that George's biological parents were actually from Ghana - and not Jamaican. When George questioned whether they had met him, Gloria admitted that she had but only his father, before adding that his mum was too upset to be the one to bring him to them.
George broke down in tears as Gloria explained that his biological mum and dad had started paying money monthly, but after a while, they stopped paying and she didn't know what had happened. When George questioned why his biological parents never took him back, Gloria insisted she didn't know what happened to them - but thought some kind of "crisis" was to blame.

However, a scene at the end of tonight's episode seemingly confirmed that Eddie and Gloria weren't being 100% truthful.
Leaving the Vic, Eddie asked his wife: "What did you tell him?" before Gloria replied: "What we agreed. Are you sure we shouldn't tell him the rest?" Eddie point black refused, adding: "He knows all he needs to know for now. The rest can wait."
Fans of the BBC soap are now convinced they know what Eddie and Gloria are keeping from George and they are convinced the adoptive parents have something to do with George's biological parents 'disappearing'.
"I think that George's adopted parents did something to get George's biological parents deported to Ghana or forced them abandon him via blackmail so that they could keep him," one fan wrote.
A second added: "Now I'm wondering what else Gloria and Eddie are hiding...," whilst a third wrote in reply, sharing their own theory: "Think they might have something to do with George's biological parents."
