Prince Harry's 'U-turn' on letting King Charles see his kids Archie and Lilibet
Prince Harry has been blamed for not maintaining the relationship between his children and his father, but experts believe that King Charles could be the one at fault.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the UK and their royal duties behind in 2020 and decided to settle in Montecito, California, where they've raised their two children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. Back in May for the King's Coronation, reports revealed that Charles was "disappointed" in not being able to see his grandchildren at the event, hinting at Harry and Meghan being the reason for their disconnect.
However, royal expert Michael Cole has claimed that the King could be at fault for not making more of an effort to see his grandchildren, who he's only met a handful of times. He said: "When the King asked Prince Harry and his wife to vacate Frogmore Cottage, Harry said, ‘Doesn’t the King want to see his grandchildren?’”

This message was echoed in Omid Scobie recent scathing royal tell-all, where he claimed that when Harry and Meghan were evicted from Frogmore Cottage, Harry asked Charles: “You don’t want to see your grandchildren anymore?”
Despite the frosty relations, it seems the King could be repairing his relationship with his son which means he could spend more time with his grandchildren. To celebrate Charles' 75th birthday, Harry called his dad after not speaking "for some time".
The call also involved the King speaking to his daughter-in-law and two grandchildren. It was reported at the time that Archie and Lilibet sang Happy Birthday to their grandfather.

A royal source said: "The King would like nothing more than for peace to play out within his family.
"The last few years have been particularly testing for the monarchy and the King appears to be very much focussed on the future, rather than things that have happened along the way."
