Darts sensation Luke Littler shared his four-word message to rival Luke Humphries on Good Morning Britain on Thursday morning.

Just hours after his loss against Humphries in the World Darts Championship final, where he was dubbed "spiteful" over a sensational and almost-winning move, the 16 year old shared what he really thought of his opponent, and his hopes for a future rematch. The darts player addressed his loss at the final on Wednesday night, after his new-found fame with GMB host Susanna Reid saying he'd won the admiration of the nation.

Luke spoke of his historic game play as the youngest finalist ever, before conversation moved to his thoughts on Humphries bagging the trophy. Susanna asked what he would like to say to Humphries after missing out to him, with Luke saying he was a "top guy".

He told Susanna and her co-host Ben Shephard: "He's a top guy." He went on: "It's just all respect to him. He's still on an 18 or 19 winning streak, he's won the past four majors. So hopefully I can stop the streak somehow, somewhere."

The star also talked of his pre-match schedule ahead of his big game, sharing he started the day at 12pm with some scrambled eggs and beans on toast. Then right before the match, he treated himself to a margherita pizza and got some practise in with the dartboard.

But darts isn't his only love, with Luke confessing he couldn't wait to get back to his Xbox console and play some FIFA. Luke revealed he hadn't brought the console with him as he didn't expect to make it all the way to the final, so he was long overdue a gameplay.

Asked about how he plans to spend the £200,000 prize money he secured during the championships, he wasn't sure - but he joked he might spend some of it on his FIFA game for points. With him weeks away from turning 17 years of age, Ben asked how he celebrated his big moment to which he replied: "I just went for a burger. Cheeseburger and chips."

It comes after Littler was dubbed "spiteful, nasty and dirty" during the final by Sky Sports Wayne Mardle, after a stunning 122 checkout in his World Darts Championship final clash with Humphries. Luke stunned his opponent when landing two triple 18s before checking out with a double seven.

He celebrated by pursing his lips as Mardle, providing commentary, waxed lyrical about his abilities. He said: "That could be the one, that could be the one that breaks the number one's heart, look at his (Humphries) face. Look at his face. That was just spiteful, that was dirty, that was nasty, that was everything that Luke Littler wanted to do!"
