Megan Markle and Prince Harry are unlikely to rebuild relationships with the Royal Family, with an expert ruling out any chance of a reconciliation.

2023 saw Prince Harry releasing his controversial memoir Spare as well as more details about the couple's awkward relationship with Harrys' brother and father, including Meghan not attending her father in law King Charles III's coronation in May.

The couple are thought to have extended an olive branch to senior members of the Royal Family, including King Charles, in an effort to reconcile after Christmas. The change of heart comes after Harry spoke with his father on his birthday, and reportedly sent him a sweet video message of his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, wishing him a happy birthday. Yet it may not be enough, as one expert pointed out the "huge void" still between them.

Psychic Sally Morgan told Closer magazine: "There's absolutely no chance of them reconciling with the Royal Family for years. This year will see the continuation of the huge void between them. They will remain strong as a couple and likely move house next year, although I don't see them leaving the United States, or even California, which they've worked hard to make feel like home."

She added that "England is out of the question" ruling out a possible move back to the UK, even if Prince Harry begins to rebuild with his father and brother.

The comments come as the couple look set to hunker down and 'step up' this year as they face a 'make or break' year. A source told Heat magazine: "This year is make or break for them, and Meghan's told Harry to step up. So far it's been her doing the lion's share of the networking, and she's stressed - largely because so many deals have fallen apart. She wants to take a step back and feels it's time for Harry to get his game face on." The source added that the couple are 'fighting to keep their brand alive' and that they have "crazy high living expenses" they need to be earning enough to cover.

Harry and Meghan decided to step down as senior working royals in 2020, with them then moving to Montecito, California in the United States.
