Jadon Sancho could find a way out of his Manchester United nightmare at West Ham - but the club don't want to take him on loan until the summer.

The winger has been frozen out at Old Trafford having clashed with Erik ten Hag as a result of a social media post back in September. Sancho claimed he'd been made a "scapegoat" after the United boss said his omission from the matchday squad was due to training performances.

The Red Devils want to find a solution to the Sancho saga this month with the Hammers open to a loan move, but only once the season has ended, reports the Daily Mail. Sources claim several club are monitoring the player's situation with the London outfit among them.

Sancho earns huge sums at Old Trafford, pocking £250,000-a-week at Old Trafford, with those numbers also understood to be an issue for West Ham. United, if they do offload the winger on loan, may yet have to pay some of his wages to get him out of the club.

A return to Germany with Borussia Dortmund is gathering momentum, according to the Athletic. They report that Sancho could head back to the Bundesliga with talks underway as his hefty wages, as expected, remain a discussions point.

Sancho's outburst has seen him train away from the first-team as Ten Hag sticks to his stance. The player has refused to apologise and it appears his future at United is over unless the Dutchman is sacked with the club struggling for results.

Ten Hag said in December: "It is about a culture and every player has to match certain standards and it was about that. What will happen there, he knows what he has to do if he wants to return and it is up to him. He knows what he has to do, it is up to him. We will see what will happen. It is an internal matter, we will see what will happen."

Sancho has largely underwhelmed since moving to United for £73m. He had huge goal contribution figures whilst in the Bundesliga but struggled to come up with either a goal or an assist when he originally joined. He's continued to be inconsistent and was even sent on an individual training programme by Ten Hag to aid his development.
