Eagle-eyed EastEnders fans were quick to notice one character looked completely different in the latest episode of the BBC soap.
Just months after last being on screen, one character returned on Monday night. But fans couldn't help notice the character in question had a completely different face.
Louie Beale was on screen with his mother Lauren Branning and her cousin Penny Branning on New Year's Day, as the trio were staying in France. But some fans spotted a secret recast had occurred, as the actor playing Louie was not the same as the one portraying him back in June.
The youngster was involved in the big twist regarding Cindy Beale being back from the dead earlier last year, at a villa with his father Peter Beale. Lauren featured in these scenes too, before she and Louie fled.
Monday was the first time the pair were on screen since the big twist, but there's been a change in actor for Louie just months on. Last June, Louie was portrayed by a young actor named Freddie Harrington.

It comes as viewers shared a theory about Cindy, after a scene on Monday night. Fans are wondering what might have happened between Cindy Beale and her ex-husband George Knight's adoptive father Eddie Knight after a recent scene.
Eddie made his debut on the show on Monday, and he soon came face-to-face with his son's ex. As the pair bumped into each other, something Eddie said and the way the pair were in the scene left fans puzzled.

Eddie then smirked at her quite creepily before telling her: "He must be doing something right to keep luring you back." Cindy laughed this off while she did look a little uncomfortable.
Viewers watching the scenes questioned if there was more to it and whether something had happened between them before she fled in 2014.
