Luke Littler's girlfriend has paid a social media tribute to the darts wonderkid after he booked his place in the semi-finals of the PDC World Championships.

Littler is making his debut at the tournament, but has conquered all before him to be one of the last four players standing. He demolished Brendan Dolan in the quarter-finals on New Year's Day, easing to a 5-1 win over the Irishman.

After his latest stunning victory, the 16-year-old was pictured kissing his delighted 21-year-old girlfriend Eloise, who is herself an amateur darts player. Eloise then shared her own tribute to The Nuke on Instagram as he prepares to face former world champion Rob Cross on Tuesday.

On her story she posted a picture of herself with Littler and another of her boyfriend being interviewed on the Ally Pally stage after his win over Dolan. As a caption she wrote: "The dream carries on. Incredibly proud of you!"

Eloise will be in attendance in the crowd at Ally Pally again on Tuesday when Littler takes on Cross. He stormed to a dominant win over Dolan, racing into a 4-0 lead on sets against the 50-year-old.

Though Dolan briefly fought back, Littler was able to recover his composure and see out an easy win. Littler will take on Cross for a place in the final, with the 16-year-old insisting he can win the whole thing.

"Unbelievable. I think I've got into the top 64 with the prize money I've already got but I never would have thought about getting to the semis on my debut," the darting sensation told Sky Sports.

"I'm felt confident ever since the Christian Kist game when I hit the 106 and I've gone back-to-back ton-plus averages, but I think it's more about the doubles, especially in the set play. I would have thought I'd be playing Gezzy (Gerwyn Price) or (Gary) Anderson but it wasn't to be.

"Brendan was just another opponent in my way. I've brushed him aside now and into the semi-finals. As soon as I hit the winning double Brendan said 'well done, you can go all the way'. The same as Raymond."

Littler now faces a man who himself won on his debut in the championships, beating Phil Taylor to win the 2018 tournament. But the 16-year-old has insisted he is not scared of Cross.

"Cross came back really well today [from 4-0 down to Chris Dobey] and I don't want to jinx it, but every game I've played I've gone two sets up or one set up. I'm good at getting off the mark quickly," he added

"I know I've got the ability to go all the way but if it's not meant to be then it's not meant to be. Whatever Luke Littler turns up, then it is what it is. I know I've got a good chance and a good feeling I can go all the way."
