EastEnders' The Six's futures - 'Divorce, health battle and betrayal exposed'
EastEnders's The Six could have more drama headed their way in 2024, as they desperately conceal the events of Christmas Day.
Suki Panesar, Denise Fox, Kathy Beale, Sharon Watts, Linda Carter and Stacey Slater found themselves embroiled in violent scenes over Christmas, that ended with Linda killing Keanu Taylor. Linda stabbed Keanu in a bid to save her best friend Sharon, Keanu's partner, after he began strangling her during a showdown.
Keanu's body is now hidden in the burnt out café, while that's not the only crime being covered up. Denise smashed Nish Panesar over the head with a bottle, as he tried to drag wife Suki out of the pub after she vowed to end their marriage.
Nish turned violent and in order to stop Nish leaving with a terrified Suki, Denise attacked him. He remains in hospital in a coma - but what does the future hold for The Six?
There could be three divorces on the cards for the women, while Sharon didn't actually go through with her wedding to the victim Keanu, who died on their wedding day. It's also teased that health battles may loom, while more than one of them are harbouring dark secrets and betrayals, asides the obvious regarding Keanu's murder and Nish's attack. Here we consider what each of The Six could face in the coming weeks and months...

Killer Linda is already struggling to hold it together after killing Keanu. She initially planned to hand herself in but the girls told her not to. Since then her alcoholism battle has seen her coming close to blurting things out, or at least that's what the rest of The Six are fearing.
Linda has fully relapsed and is clearly struggling, not even hiding the fact she is drinking again. With this being Linda's second big relapse in recent years, could she end up with serious health complications? Might Linda end up confessing all or confiding in someone what she did to Keanu?
We know that Linda's son Johnny Carter is making a comeback to the BBC soap in 2024, hopefully to provide some much needed support to his mother. But might Linda end up telling him the truth? Perhaps 2024 will be the year she moves on from husband Mick Carter who is presumed dead.
We've seen her getting close to Alfie Moon, and they have supported each other in their times of need. Might Linda and Alfie give things a go and if they do, could Alfie soon find out what really happened to Nish and Keanu? Or might Linda be exposed by one or all of The Six...
Sharon Watts
Sharon witnessed another of her lovers dying in front of her on Christmas Day, and this time she's a part of the demise of the character. This isn't the first time Sharon has mourned a partner, but it's bound to be all the more tricky when you're a part of the crime, and the cover-up of his death.
How long until Sharon falls apart and confesses to someone where Keanu really ended up? Once again Sharon has been unlucky in love, but will the recent news about her young son Albie lead her to reuniting with ex Phil Mitchell? After all, he's bound to want to be involved in Albie's life now he knows he's his father, and not Keanu.

Suki may finally get to live happily ever after with lover Eve Unwin, now that everyone including her family knows about their relationship and her sexuality. After hiding her true self for so long, here's hoping 2024 sees Suki embracing the real her, living her best life.
But there's also the possibility that Eve will end up finding out what happened on Christmas Day, with both Suki and her best pal Stacey involved. If she doesn't find out, might she grow suspicious of Stacey and Eve possibly hiding something and could it push her away?
Back to Suki and there's the small problem of Nish, who is currently in a coma. If he does survive, will he remember what really happened and tear apart The Six's story? Is he really going to let Suki move on with Eve and get the divorce she's hoping for?
Of course Suki has the blessing of those around her, so Nish doesn't really have a leg to stand on. But if he does remember the events of Christmas, could he spill the beans in revenge or maybe even frame Suki? Suki seems to be the strongest out of The Six in terms of holding it together, but is this a facade - or will she go to whatever lengths necessary to stop the other women falling apart or exposing their crimes?

Stacey was furious to have been caught up in the attack on Nish and the murder of Keanu. She repeatedly pointed out she had not done anything wrong and had committed no crime. That was until she helped cover up Keanu's murder, and helped to hide his body in the café.
She's just as involved in the drama as the rest of them now, but after her history with Christmas Day murders - when she killed Archie Mitchell - might she crack under the pressure? Could her stalker Theo Hawthorne return to cause more misery for her?
Then there's her recent fling with Jack Branning, might that continue and could it even lead to new romance? Possibly Stacey and Martin Fowler could reunite but that ship seems to have sailed.
Viewers have also worried for some time that Stacey may suffer from an episode with her bipolar, given all the stress she has been through recently with the murder and Theo. Could the soap revisit her condition at some point this year as events take their toll?
Denise Fox
Another divorce could see Denise and her husband Jack Branning split for good after she walked out on him recently. With recent events and his fling with Stacey being the last straw, it seemed Denise wanted to end their marriage.
But given her involvement in the Christmas murder, might she end up keeping Jack close? Denise was panicked in the fallout to her attack on Nish and the death of Keanu, and she's desperate for things to stay under wraps.
Given Denise's links to the Panesars, and the fact there is every chance Nish may wake up and remember what happened to him, does Denise need to prepare herself? If anyone is going to crack, fans think it could be Denise with them fearing she could suffer from depression, while others have questioned whether an alcoholism storyline might be planned for the character. If she does crack, might one or all of the others turn on her?

Kathy has committed the ultimate betrayal to secure the secret of The Six, resulting in another character being sent to prison. But will her guilt get the better of her, and might her betrayal come to light?
Viewers saw her shop her husband Rocky Cotton to the police in a recent episode, as he got too close to the truth about Kathy and The Six's crimes. To stop him snooping, The Six told her she needed to tell the police about Rocky setting fire to the café for the insurance payout to get him out of the way.
She did do this and Rocky is now gone, but how long until Kathy cracks out of guilt? Might she end up resenting the other women for making her do it now that she's lost Rocky, when she actually didn't hurt or kill anyone on Christmas Day?
Like Stacey she is now an accessory given she helped cover up the true events. But if anyone was to drop a confession about Keanu or even Nish, let alone what Linda did, we could bet it would be Kathy. That said, the other women seemed fearful Kathy could bring them all down, so might she be the one facing being framed?
