Kanye West was urged to apologise for his anti-Semitic outbursts by his wife Bianca Censori after she started to grow "sick of his attention seeking", according to a source.
The 46-year-old rapper issued a statement on Tuesday expressing "deep regret" for his past comments. Kanye, legally known as Ye, caused a wave of controversy this past year after praising Adolf Hitler and telling Piers Morgan that Jewish people have harmed him in music deals and contracts.
While it seemed as though Kanye had learned a lesson from the backlash, a source has claimed it was actually Bianca who "laid the smackdown" on him. They said she had grown tired of his unacceptable behaviour.

They said Bianca "knows that this is not who he truly is", which is why she urged her husband to speak out. The source said she was worried it was "making her look like she is anti-Semitic", but insisted this is far from the truth.
The source said Bianca has been "very upset" by Kanye's past behaviour. However, they claimed she struggles to control him as he "just waits until she is gone" to cause controversy.

The heated row is believed to have started when Kanye "exploded" at his wife following an event they attended together in Dubai, where she dressed how she liked and was seen drinking and enjoying herself. The rapper has a set of "strict rules" he reportedly likes his wife to follow, including allowing him to dictate what she wears and when she speaks.
"Kanye didn’t like this because he knew he was no longer in control," a source told The Daily Mail. "She allegedly told him she was done being his silent mute and that she is not his muse like Kim [Kardashian, ex-wife] was and he cannot treat her as such."
