TOWIE's Tommy Mallet hits back after being questioned about £500k custom Ferrari

TOWIE star Tommy Mallet has hit back after a follower questioned him on a post showing off the interior of his incredible £500,000 Ferrari.

The business owner recently sold the footwear business that made him TOWIE's first billionaire. He launched his successful Mallet London in 2015 and has made millions after designing his first pair of shoes when he was just 15.

He previously said he wanted to sell his collection of luxury cars in a bid to become more "relatable". But his recent post suggested otherwise, as he shared a photo of the red leather seats of his Ferrari Purosangue.

Referring to his fiancee and mum to his baby, Georgia Kousoulou, he captioned the snap: "Told Georgia it’s all good, it has baby seat thingys." (sic)

But while some fans taking the opportunity to give him some unsolicited parenting advice, another questioned him about his previous comments.

They wrote: "Thought u sold all cars as u didn’t want to look a mug pulling up in petrol stations?" To which the 31-year-old snapped back: "I also didn’t eat vegetables at that time of my life 2 years ago, i do now tho."

Questioning the dad-of-one's parenting skills, another follower added: "Need to see if Ferrari sell ear muffs for the baby’s to dampen the sound of that V12," while another advised: "Car seat thingys - for your isofix base which the baby car seat attaches to, make sure the baby car seat is compatible with your car."

Another was more concerned for the car's wellbeing, writing: "Please tell me you’re going to have seat covers. Can’t be having crumbs and muddy footprints all over your new car."

Tommy previously spoke to TikTok's Motive Mentality channel about his collection of high-end vehicles, saying he had changed his ways to stop "rubbing it in" that he had more money than others.

He was asked: "How come you sold up all your cars then? G Wagon gone as well?" Tommy abruptly replied: "Everything is gone."

He explained: "When I pull up at the petrol station and you've got my man struggling to put a tenner in his car to get to work, do I want to be pulling up in the £200K motor jumping out, putting it in the car, jumping back in. No man, that's not who I want to be. I want to be relatable. I want to be able to come across as a normal person.

"I've done well, and I've got money, but in these next few years that are going to be tough, I don't want to be rubbing it in people's faces. Because that's when the hate starts man. I don't want that."

Tommy reiterated: "I want to be relatable. I say hello to everyone where I live in the mornings, and I go in my local caff and I talk to everyone."

Speaking last week, he revealed that despite being named on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list of influential entrepreneurs after his shoe range made millions, he has been left with "nothing". Opening up about his financial woes on the Getting There podcast, he claimed his money is all gone.

He told show host Brogan: "I've got nothing financially at the moment. I basically made an acquisition in January, it was quite a big one and it was to buy some shares back for Mallet. I put money into Mallet to get my shares back up thinking that I was going to go and basically build the next year, just full force."
