Salah surpasses ex-Liverpool star to join Premier League elite with latest feat
Mohamed Salah moved into the top 10 Premier League goalscorers of all-time after scoring during Liverpool's 1-1 draw against Arsenal on Saturday.
Salah, 31, equalised for Jurgen Klopp's side in the 28th minute at Anfield after Gabriel opened the scoring. It was a stunning strike from the Egyptian, who jinked inside onto his favoured left foot before smashing the ball into the roof of the net beyond a hapless David Raya.
With that strike, Salah joined some elite company as he jumped above former Liverpool forward Michael Owen and into the top 10 highest scorers in Premier League history. It was Salah's 151st in the top-flight, with the winger now 11 behind ninth-place Jermaine Defoe on the list.
However, Salah still has some way to go to catch Alan Shearer, who is the outright leading Premier League scorer after striking 260 top-flight goals across his career. Harry Kane is second on 213, while Wayne Rooney (208), Andy Cole (187) and Sergio Aguero (184) make up the top five.
Ex-Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard is sixth on 177 strikes, with Thierry Henry (175) and Robbie Fowler (163) seventh and eighth respectively. A total of 34 players have reached 100 Premier League goals, with Son Heung-min becoming the latest to reach that landmark last season.

As for Salah, he grabbed his 150th Premier League goal in Liverpool's last-gasp 2-1 win over Crystal Palace earlier this month and is the division's second top scorer on 12 behind Erling Haaland. Jarrod Bowen, Dominic Solanke and Son Heung-min are all joint-third on 11 top-flight goals this season.

The Reds had to settle for a point at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp's side moved back up to second, one point behind Arsenal in the table.
Speaking after the game, Jurgen Klopp told the BBC : "Oh my god, how strong are they? The good news is we are good as well. In a game like this, going down early to a set piece is tough, especially with the speed of Arsenal.
"But the game we played, how we started second half we should have scored. We pass instead of shoot, four or five times we do that, it's a lesson. But generally the game is great."
