The chilling moment a murderer rang 999 and said "I stabbed a girl through the throat" has been shared for the first time.
Pablo Hoad made the call after he killed Shannon Stanley, slashing her in the neck at a Birmingham home they sometimes shared in the early hours of Tuesday, May 10 last year.
Hoad, 28, and his girlfriend, Maz Underwood, had spent the evening with Shannon, and his friend Waqar Ali and another man, Chris Williams, when an argument broke out between Shannon and Hoad.
It was claimed Hoad had criticised Williams and called him a 'snitch', Birmingham Live reported, sparking a row between him and Ms Stanley, who allegedly said she was going to 'slice everyone up in the house'.

(West Midlands Police /SWNS)Hoad, from Small Heath, was cleared of murder by a jury at the conclusion of a trial at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday, but was found guilty of manslaughter. He will be sentenced on Friday, February 16 next year. Commenting on the case, Detective Inspector Jim Mahon, from West Midlands Police's Force CID and who led the investigation, said: “Hoad lost control and repeatedly stabbed Shannon and although he claims he never meant it to get out of hand, he never sought any help for her. Instead he ran home leaving Shannon fatally injured." He added: “Shannon had many people who loved and cared for her. I hope that they can feel some sense of justice following this result at court.”
