Linda Robson supported by fans amid huge Christmas change after marriage split

Loose Women star Linda Robson has revealed a big change in her Christmas plans this year. Following the end of her marriage, the TV star will be spending the festive day at her eldest daughter's house instead of her own.

During a chat on Loose Women, Linda shared her plans for the big day. She said: "At my house there won't be any phones, well it's not actually my house this year it's Lauren's house, but normally in my house it's no phones. So we take the phones off them until later that day and we have a nice peaceful family time."

Linda then continued to discuss how her grandkids are hooked on their phones. She explained: "My grandchildren are addicted to phones. So Lila's 11, she's just got a phone for the first time.

"And Betsy's seven and Betsy is not allowed on her laptop until the weekend or any mobile phones and she's like on Monday, 'is it the weekend yet' and no we've got another five days. Honestly it just sort of takes over your life because I was addicted to the phone myself," concluded Linda.

In September, the star confirmed her split from husband Mark Dunford. However, Linda has shared that she's 'feeling fine' and is trying to 'keep busy' after their separation. Linda and Mark first met as teenagers, but it wasn't until years later that they started dating. They got married in 1990 and have two children together, Roberta, 27, and Louis, 31. The TV favourite also has a daughter named Lauren from a previous relationship.

In an interview with Woman magazine, Linda said: "He's a really good dad and we had some good years, but enough is enough. I'm not interested [in dating] honestly. I can't be a***d with all that."

Despite previously dismissing rumours of a split as 'rubbish' on the ITV show, Linda confirmed her separation. She previously said: "That's a load of rubbish. We're still living together. We both love our kids more than anything else in the world, obviously you have a few hiccups in every marriage. We've been married 33 years so it's not going to be all plain sailing, but we're still together at the moment."

Back in August, Linda made a cryptic comment about her marriage during a chat on Loose Women. She mentioned that she went out for dinner because all the kids had left home and she was only at home with her dog and her husband.

Then she pointed out the order in which she mentioned them, saying: "Notice the order!" She'd mentioned her dog before her husband, which caused a lot of laughter among the other ladies on Loose Women.
