Cadbury has admitted that a fan favourite chocolate from their Roses collection will not feature in some tubs this year.
Cadbury chocolate Roses are always popular stocking fillers across households at Christmas time. The box of bite sized chocolates contains a range of different flavours and everyone has their particular favourite. However, this year, fans have been left disappointed as one much loved flavour has been noticeably missing.
Many Brits have taken to social media to share their frustration that their box did not contain any Orange Cremes. One X - formerly Twitter - user shared a post which read: "Our tub of Cadbury Roses doesn't have any Orange Cremes and I'm taking this as a personal attack."
Another user said: "Anyone else discovering a distinct lack of Orange Creme's in tubs of Cadbury Roses? Shocker! What's going on @CadburyUK?". A third said: "Disappointed with my tub of Roses @CadburyUK 0 orange chocolates. Zero. Nada. Zilch. They’re my faves." A fourth person, posting a picture of the lack of Orange Creme chocolates in a packet they had purchased, simply said: "@CadburyUK no orange sweets."
Cadbury Roses usually consist of nine flavours and according to the Cadbury website, these include: the Hazel Whirl, Golden Barrel, Hazel in Caramel, Strawberry Dream, Caramel, Country Fudge, Signature Truffle, Cadbury Dairy Milk Chunk and Tangy Orange Creme.

Cadbury Roses were first introduced in 1938 as a competitor to Quality Street, a rivalry which still holds strong today and the Orange Creme has been a staple part of the Roses range for decades.
Replying to the raft of online complaints on X, Cadbury UK set the record straight and admitted why there were fewer Orange Cremes in some of this year's tubs.
Cadbury UK said: "This year, a small percentage of Cadbury Roses products will not contain any Orange Cremes due to supply chain challenges. But don't worry, you'll still be able to enjoy the same amount of chocolate as usual as we've replaced them with our much-loved Strawberry Cremes."
Cadbury's response did answer the question - but it also drew some criticism with many Roses fans not too keen on its choice of replacement. One X user wrote: "This isn't very good I only look forward to the orange ones!" Another added: "Who wants to eat a Strawberry Creme? No one."
