Wrexham 's Hollywood owner Ryan Reynolds has dropped a January transfer hint after the city took the top spot of the UK's Home Rental League.
Reynolds and Wrexham co-owner Rob McElhenney has helped boost the city's reputation since their 2021 takeover, with a number of film and TV stars travelling to Wales to watch the Red Dragons.
According to a report in The Telegraph, the average number of enquiries per available rental property in Wrexham in 2023 stands at 56, which is seven higher than their nearest rival Redbridge. It's also a jump up from eight enquiries per available rental property in Wrexham in 2019.
With Wrexham sitting third in League Two and in the hunt for a second consecutive promotion, Reynolds has hinted that the housing market isn't the only market of interest heading into the New Year.
Wrexham have had their fair share of injuries this season, with boss Phil Parkinson expressing his concern and Reynolds appears ready to address those issues in January. Reynolds said on Instagram alongside the table of the UK's Home Rental League: "If you happen to be in a transfer window."

A player or two, or more, could help Wrexham close the gap on League Two leaders Stockport, who boast a six-point lead. Wrexham and second-place Barrow do, however, hold a game in hand over the league leaders.
Parkinson says the club are always looking for new faces to bring in to boost the quality of the squad. "I don't want to make any predictions for January in terms of incoming players," said the Reds' boss. "We have got a strong squad but we are always looking. As our supporters know, we are always striving to improve and we are assessing a lot of situations at the moment but we are keeping our cards close to our chest."

We have got players coming back from injury and we have got other players who haven't even been in the 22-man squad so once January 1 kicks in, we can then bring those players back into the squad because the 22-man squad rule doesn't count through January.
"We are just seeing how Fletch is, seeing how Barney looks coming back and just looking at various options for the month of January. I am looking forward to welcoming players back into the group."
Wrexham takes on Newport County next on Saturday at the Racecourse Ground. Newport sits 17th in League Two after 22 games, amassing 26 points.
