EastEnders has revealed new potential Christmas victims as the hit BBC One soap released a cryptic cufflink teaser video on Thursday.
Viewers are eagerly awaiting Christmas Day as the hit BBC One soap is set to air an explosive whodunnit festive murder. Earlier this year, in a soap first, the hit BBC One show released a flashforward glimpse at the dramatic scenes with six women – Denise Fox, Kathy Beale, Linda Carter, Sharon Watts, Stacey Slater and Suki Panesar – faced with a mystery dead man at the Queen Vic with the only clue showing he was wearing amber cufflinks.
Since then, EastEnders has released explosive trailers for each of the six women, dropping clues left, right and centre while they have also confirmed the potential victims in a line-up of seven. These characters are Phil Mitchell, Keanu Taylor, Ravi Gulati, Dean Wicks, Nish Panesar, Rocky Cotton and Jack Branning.
However, EastEnders has thrown a spanner in the works as they have now teased even more victims thanks to a cryptic Instagram video on Thursday. In the clip, titled 'Introducing… ‘The Tale of the Christmas Cufflinks’. Merry Christmas, everyone. #EastEnders #TheSix', it shows which male characters have amber cufflinks.

The EastEnders video then showed a map, showing each person who has a set of cufflinks in Albert Square (BBC)It starts by saying: "Once upon a time, Nish owned some cufflinks, sadly, Nish lost his cufflinks to Rocky, who then kindly gave them to Jack. Then one beautiful day, Phil needed some cufflinks for his wedding, cue cufflinks. So Jack gave his cufflinks to Phil! This is not the end of the cufflinks journey... more cufflinks came to town Alfie and Billy sold them all. The people of Walford will be so happy with their Christmas presents and they'll all live happily ever after or will they?"

The EastEnders video then showed a map, showing each person who has a set of cufflinks in Albert Square and fans were surprised to see more characters involved, as well as the seven line-up. Phil, Keanu, Ravi, Dean, Nish, Rocky and Jack were all featured, but in a twist, so were Martin Fowler, Zack Hudson, George Knight and Reiss Clowell.
And while it's likely Martin, Zack, George and Reiss have been added as a red-herring, soap watchers were quick to react. One person said: "Why is Reece in the picture?! leave him be! I’m hoping it’s Dean or Nish, please leave Phil alone, he is literally Mr Albert Square!", a different account put: "So it could be Martin now…" while another added: "Those b****y cufflinks!!" with laughing emojis.
