MAFS couple spark split fears as groom is 'avoiding' meeting wife's family
They were considered to be one of the strongest couples on Married At First Sight and their chemistry has seemingly stood the test of time.
However, Tasha Jay and Paul Liba's relationship has since sparked fears for the future after it emerged that Paul is refusing to meet her father, as he's "intimidating." When sat on the sofa of the social experiment, Paul was the first one to admit that he was falling in love with the outspoken reality TV star. But despite maintaining a loving relationship, a union of both families is not on the cards anytime soon, if Paul has his way.

Tasha sparked rumours of a split after she was pictured with YouTube star Yung Filly (Instagram/ @itstashajay)Speaking to OK! Tasha told the publication: "Paul still hasn’t met my parents but he’s met my sisters, my brother and their kids. The kids were the main ones for me if the kids didn’t like him, that would have been an issue." She added: "No one’s got a bad word to say about Paul. He’ll meet my mum at Christmas but I don’t think he’ll meet my dad for a while. I was once talking to Paul on the phone at my dad’s house and Paul heard my dad coming into the room and just hung up the phone."
And Paul echoed: "Tasha’s dad is an intimidating man — he makes me nervous! As for my family, my parents loved Tasha from the start. They prefer her to me now — I can’t win any arguments." Earlier this month, Tasha sparked rumours of a split when she was spotted cosying up to YouTube star Yung Filly at a star-studded event.
The E4 star attended the fashion brand Pretty Little Thing's Christmas party where she met the social media influencer. Tasha, who seemed to attend the party without Paul, donned a black sparkly outfit with cut outs by her midriff, which she teamed with an orange clutch bag.

Stood side by side with Young Filly as they posed for a picture, Tasha appeared in her element as he placed his arm around her waist. Posting the snap on her Instagram, fans rushed to comment on whether she had split with Paul. One fan said: "Did Paul and Tasha break up?" And another added: "Where's her man?" Meanwhile a third said: "@libapaul96 watch out, @yungfilly will be coming for your girl." Keen to set the record straight, Tasha responded: "No we are still together we just didn't take a picture together lol."
Another picture that generated attention was her posing with Erica Roberts who she had numerous fall-outs with on the show. Tasha was seen pulling faces for the camera as Erica posed seductively by sticking her tongue out. And it looked as though they have managed to bury the hatchet if this picture is anything to go by. On the show, Erica and Tasha locked horns after Erica, who joined much later than the original cast, claimed she had the strongest relationship, which left Tasha fuming.
