Die-hard Harry Potter fans love watching the snow fall over Hogwarts during Christmas time. So, why not attempt this insanely difficult quiz while you watch the films this festive season? The whole family can get involved.

While many fans consider themselves experts on all-things Harry Potter, these difficult questions test if your research and understanding is up to Hermione Granger levels.

There are many internet hubs from discussions on Harry Potter forums to user-submitted quizzes on Goodreads, so in order to track down the hardest wizard questions we looked to Scholastic's Wizard's Challenge - an online quiz offering questions with a range of difficulty.

Do you know your Sirius from your Severus? Or can you tell the difference between a Hippogriff and a Hungarian Horntail? Designed for the most observant fans, the quiz promises to challenge those who believe they know every page back to front of J.K Rowling's books, or every word in the films.
