Kourtney Kardashian's reasons for keeping baby away from public eye explained
Kourtney Kardashian still hasn't shared snaps of her newborn child, and experts have revealed what the reality star has in store for fans.
The 44-year-old gave birth on November 1st, welcoming her first child with husband Travis Barker, and another sibling to her three children - Mason, Penelope and Reign - with ex-partner Scott Disick. Since giving birth, Kourtney has stayed largely out of the public eye and hasn't shared an image of her baby with her fans on social media, despite her family constantly being in the public eye.
However, as noted by fans and experts alike, Kourtney has never been fond of living her life in the spotlight and has recently expressed her desire for privacy, especially amid her recent feud with sister Kim Kardashian. PR Strategist Laura Perkes told us: "Kourtney has been very vocal about living life out of the spotlight, which was often the focus of feuds with her sisters during filming of Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

She's yet to share snaps of the newborn (Kourtney Kardashian/Instagram)"She would often be scrutinised by Kim and Khloe for wanting to spend more time with her children away from the cameras. Having spent so much of her life on TV, much of it showing the tumultuous relationship she had with Scott Disick, I'm not surprised that she wants to enjoy those newborn baby moments with Travis in their own private bubble,away from the prying eyes of the press and the public."

Laura explained that Kourtney will most likely "stay in control" of the situation and release images of her child when she's ready, practically playing the media game by her own rules, but with a "more relaxed approach" than her sisters. She said: "Kourtney likes to stay in control of decisions and she'll know from her previous experiences that once the press and the public get a glimpse of the baby, they'll want more, which will leave Kourtney feeling out of control with who can photograph the baby and when.

It's a lot for any woman to acclimatise to, but when you're in the media spotlight it can become unbearable," Laura added.
"From a PR perspective it may be that she's holding out for the highest bidder on the first pics of the baby. It could be that creating this level of intrigue will create enough PR on its own for the next few months, giving her more time to enjoy private moments as a family. It's a clever move."
"Kourtney understands that she'll need to share pictures of the baby to appease their fans, but she also knows that she can do this on her terms. If it means that they'll get a bigger paycheck for holding out, then she's still coming out on top," Laura continued. "She gets the privacy she craves and also gets an exclusive deal with the highest bidding magazine. She's a commodity and knows how to play the game, just by her own rules."
