Shane Nolan shares cryptic post after 'cheating on wife' after year of marriage
Coleen Nolan's son Shane hit out at 'fake friends' with a cryptic post about people 'checking up on you' following the reported demise of his short-lived marriage.
Shane hit headlines in recent days after it was reported that he and his Miss Great Britain star wife, Maddie Wahdan, have split after he allegedly cheated on her. His mum, Coleen, is said to be "disappointed" by Shane's actions with fans pointing out it was a case of 'history repeating itself' after Shane's dad Shane Richie had an affair while with the Loose Women star.
Both Shane and Coleen had been present when Shane Jnr and Maddie tied the knot in an intimate ceremony last year after being together for six years.
Singer Shane has reportedly admitted to seeing another woman while he was still with Maddie. Shane still hasn't discussed the rumours but has shared a series of cryptic posts on his social media pages. On Monday evening, he took to his Instagram Stories to share a meaningful quote over a black-and-white photo of Ian McKellan.
"Remember who checks on you when you get a little quiet," the quote read. "They are your true people."

Shane and the beauty star had been together for six years before getting married at Rushton Hall in Kettering. However, the two decided to call time on their relationship.
It comes as Shane reportedly admitted to seeing another woman while being in a committed relationship with Maddie. An insider recently claimed that it was the beauty pageant star who initiated the break-up after she was left feeling 'heartbroken' over her husband's infidelity.
A few days later, reports came out that Loose Women panellist has been upset' and 'disappointed' after her son Shane Nolan split from his wife. The 58-year-old is the mother to Jake Roche, 31, Shane Nolan, 35, and Ciara Fensome, 22. She shares Shane with EastEnders star Shane Richie, who has been playing Alfie Moon on the soap since 2002.
A source claimed to The Sun: "Coleen is really upset as she adored Maddie and sees her as another daughter." They went on to claim Coleen "is disappointed to see history repeating itself" - referring to Shane's soap star father. They added: "It’s a case of like father, like son." The Mirror have contacted Coleen's reps for comment.
Coleen tied the knot with Shane Sr in 1990. The two stayed together until they split in 1999. She previously opened up about him cheating on her during their marriage. In 2012, Coleen told the Daily Star how her divorce from Shane eventually brought her peace. "I'm in a much happier place now than when I was married to Shane – I don't have to worry about what he gets up to any more," she said.
