Producers have redesigned the Love Island villa to give contestants more opportunities than ever to have sex.

The new villa has been kitted out with extra nooks for couples to disappear into, and have boosted the Hideaway into a retreat space Austin Powers would feel at home in.

They have also added a secluded treehouse to give couples even more space from their fellow contestants.

For the first time ever, couples will be able to take entire weekends away from the villa, to get to know each other "intimately".

Host Maya Jama says of the plush new Hideaway Retreat: "It will definitely bring out the romance."
