Walkers axes another popular item leaving fans livid - but there's silver lining
Sad news, Walkers fans. The company has announced it is pulling one of its popular snacks - and customers have been left pretty devastated.
It's by no means the first product to have been axed by Walkers recently either. Having removed salt and vinegar Quavers, Walkers Max Flamin' Hot, the Peking Spare Rib oriental crackers, and Worcester Sauce crisps from its line-up, the brand also confirmed earlier this month that it is no longer making Regal Mint & Lamb Sensations.
And now the latest tasty snack to face the chop has been revealed. Walkers has stated that it is no longer making Max Wasabi Peanuts. One fan took to X, formerly Twitter, to share their heartbreak.
The user posted: "@Walkers_Crisps have you discontinued the Max Wasabi Peanuts? I can't find them anywhere!" Walkers were quick to reply with a spokesperson saying: "We're sorry to break it to you, but we're not making this flavour anymore."
Fans will have to say goodbye to Walkers' Max Wasabi peanuts (Walkers)But there is some good news for those who love the Max Wasabi Peanuts. You can still shop the snack in the supermarkets including Asda and Ocado stores - but be quick, they won't stay on the shelves for long.

Fans of sweeter treats were also left devastated recently when Nestle revealed it would be axing its the iconic beige-coloured Caramac bars. And chocolate fans have been threatening to 'run riot' after Mars Wrigley UK decided to discontinue the iconic Milkyway Crispyrolls.
One angry customer said: "Milkyway crispy rolls discontinued? How much more can we take before we riot?" while another said: "I am craving Milky Way Crispy Rolls it's actually a joke, why did they get discontinued." And another said: "Milky Way Crispy Rolls have been discontinued in the UK. The end of an era," with one raging fan even claiming the popular manufacturer had a "war on their hands". Yet another said: "Good morning to everyone except the person responsible for discontinuing Milky Way Crispy Rolls."
Despite the angry reaction to the move, a spokesperson for Mars Wrigley UK confirmed the news and told The Sun : "While Milky Way Crispy Rolls are currently in a galaxy far, far away we're pleased to offer many delicious alternatives such as Milky Way Magic Stars, Maltesers, Mars and of course, the traditional Milky Way."
There is a little hope left, but shoppers will have to be quick to grab their fix, with a few stores still selling the delicious treat, although expect to pay through the nose for them. Sweettreatsandpartyfavours.co.uk, Belito.co.uk and sosweetshop.co.uk all stock the MilkyWay Crispy Rolls. Sosweetshop.co.uk is selling a single choc bar for £1.49 per 25g bar but delivery will cost you £3.55 – or you can get a box of 24 for £30.
