Emmerdale fans beg Chloe to 'run' as they 'rumble' sinister dad twist
Emmerdale viewers think they have rumbled a sinister storyline involving Chloe Harris' father, Damon, who was revealed to be criminal Harry on Thursday's episode.
During Friday's episode, Damon spoke about Chloe's future, revealing he could get her a house in the sun even with its own swimming pool. He insisted she would be kept safe, even with security. However, Chloe wasn't happy when Damon revealed her new passports would take a few days to which he insisted: "I said I'd keep you safe, and I will!"
Later, Chloe was told to forget that ex Mackenzie Boyd exists as Damon warned he won't have his name mentioned in the house. Chloe, who had been tempted to contact sister Amy Wyatt, was also told to handover her phone. Damon then hid it in the kitchen, pointing out: "I'm the only family you need..." as Chloe seemed both confused and concerned about her phone being taken away.

One person said: "Control freak. Run a mile Chloe #emmerdale", a different account put: "Coming across like a kidnapper that's captured Chloe not her dad", another viewer said: "Chloe's dad is so controlling. She'll regret phoning him.#emmerdale."
Elsewhere, one soap watcher said: "There’s something fishy about Chloe’s dad. #Emmerdale", a different fan wrote: "Her mental dad is going to kill Mackenzie, isn’t he.#Emmerdale" while another added: "I think Chloe is going to eventually regret asking her “dad” for help. She knew what he was like when he had her constantly under surveillance and then chucking her out. #Emmerdale @emmerdale."

Only recently, the identity of Chloe's dad was finally revealed with fans told who he is in a major twist on Thursday. The ITV soap aired huge scenes as Chloe met up with her dad, who was thought to be called Damon when he was first mentioned back in 2021 - with him revealed to have been in prison, and out of Chloe's life after she fled to be with her mother Kerry Wyatt. But in a major twist, her father was actually confirmed to be a familiar face, and a past soap villain.

It was none other than Dingle enemy Harry, last seen on-screen in October when he was run over by Aaron Dingle. As the scenes played out on Thursday night, mid-way through the episode Chloe met with a mystery person. She had been shown talking on the phone to someone after her own return to the village after weeks away, following her fleeing with baby son Reuben.
As Chloe met with the person in question a man stepped out, who she soon called "dad". As the camera moved up to show who it was, Harry was shown on screen and he called Chloe "sweetheart". It emerged Damon, who is called Harry by business associates, has kept tabs on Chloe for the last couple of years and about everything that had gone on - including Mack leaving her for Charity Dingle.
Wanting to know why Chloe contacted him, he asked: "You’re not happy are you? Otherwise you wouldn’t be here, so why don’t you tell me what is really going on in your mind?" Chloe then explained she wanted to start a new life away from the village to get away from Mack for good. Asking for new IDs and passports, she asked if her dad could organise this - but it was hinted he had something else up his sleeve.
