Christmas is just around the corner, and if you’re yet to find the perfect statement piece for the big day, M&S has everything from stylish festive jumpers to sparkly dresses which are bound to turn heads around the table this year.
However, there’s one item in particular which shoppers are quite literally ‘running to buy’ after spotting it on the brand’s Instagram page - and it’s the ultimate party piece.
The £79 Tailored Sequin Single Breasted Blazer boasts a single-button fastening to create a streamlined feel while the full lining and added stretch make it extra comfortable to wear. It also features two jet pockets, and comes in sizes six to 24.

The retailer showed off just how versatile the blazer is by reposting M&S Insider @marksandspencer_sam styling it in five different ways, to their 2 million followers on Instagram.

In the video, Sam can be seen styling the blazer with two different pairs of jeans; a metallic silver wide-leg pair and a patented black leather option - both from M&S.
She switches her tops and accessories to switch up her looks and even pairs the blazer with a stunning velvet dress and a silver belt - showing it works with just about anything in your wardrobe!

The post received over 1,000 likes and plenty of comments from M&S fans, desperate to get their hands on the versatile festive piece. One shopper said: '*RUNS to buy the sequin blazer*,' while a second added: 'Obsessed with all these looks.'
It's also received plenty of positive reviews on the M&S website, with shoppers calling it 'great for special occasions' and 'a real wow statement.' However, one shopper wasn't too pleased with the shape of the blazer, and said: "Ageing and droopy looking .. doesn’t work if one is curvy as cut to suit rectangle shape."
While we love the M&S blazer, we know £79 is quite a lot to spend on just one item alone, so luckily we've spotted a great alternative from New Look that not only looks similar, but will set you back just £24.
