Ellie Leach has discussed her "chemistry" with Vito Coppola on Strictly Come Dancing - but refuses to let the rumours shake them.
There has been much discussion about a potential relationship between Ellie and Vito after the pair were partnered together on the BBC Latin and ballroom show, with the former Coronation Street star having previously opened up about how Vito has helped boosted her confidence and kept her feeling like she could win the show.
Now the pair are in the final - and are the only couple left standing who have not been in the dance off once yet. With the duo the favourite to win the show, Ellie and Vito have opened up to The Mirror and other press about their journey so far.
Vito Coppola kissed Ellie Leach this weekend as he praised her Strictly journeySpeaking about their chemistry together, Ellie revealed: "I think that obviously we've danced together for three months. Obviously, we've been together every single day and you really have to be able to truth in each other. I think as well for me, Vito is an amazing dancer and that's why he's a professional. So I have to trust him. But also, it's a lot about him putting trust in me because it's something that I've never done before. So for him to make the choreography so difficult, there has to be a lot of trust there."
Vito added: "I trusted her since day one, and I believe in her potential. She didn't trust in herself so I said to her, ok first I have to have your trust. So I made it in the way that you have to trust me first. Now once you trust me, if I trust me, trust me that I trust you."

The pair were also asked about the constant dating rumours surrounding them, and if that had had an affect on their journey together. Responding, Vito shared: "We are so into the rehearsal though, all day. We have so many things to think about like the choreography and lift up, life down, left, right. And after we finish, we need to eat and nap a little bit because we need to take the energy in to continue with rehearsals. After we go home, we go to sleep and the next day we have to be there again. We are so focused on this beautiful experience. Words cannot describe how much we are enjoying every single day."
During the semi-final, Vito heaped praise on his dance partner. Asked why he thinks Ellie should win the show, Vito told host Claudia Winkleman: "Honestly, I am so proud of this girl. I met a very shy, a super shy girl and look at her now. She is super strong, independent woman. Before she was like 'I cannot do that', the first week was like 'I am not able to do that', 'I am not good enough', 'I am not coordinated', everything was a no. Now, everything has become a yes."
