The unexpected death of an Australian mum, just aged 33, has left her five children and husband heartbroken as friends rally round to raise funds.
Chelsea Turvey, from Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast, tragically passed away on December 6, just after she had celebrated her eighth wedding anniversary with her husband, Jamie, and their children Atreyu, Alexis, Kruize, Jaxon and Tyson. The cause of her death is still not publicly known and Chelsea's best friend, Hollie Simpson, has started a fundraiser on behalf of the grief-stricken family to help provide support during this testing time.
She wrote: "If you were lucky enough to know Chelsea and have her touch your heart like she did so many, hold these memories close and carry her with you always. As friends and family, we have all witnessed the incredible love and kindness she poured into others, and in this heartbreaking time we want to ease the financial burden for her family to allow them to focus their time and energy on the children. Rest easy our angel, we will take care of Jimmy and the kids."
The GoFundMe page has raised just under $10,000 (£5235) of its $20,000 (£10,469) goal in under a week. Another close friend described her as a "star in every which way" for her passion as a mother and loving wife. She wrote on Facebook: "We will do our very best to make sure your kids and jimmy know you love them so so much and be like their mother and never give in or up. We are not even close to stand in her shoes and try to keep her family perfectly loved and cared for like she did - but we gotta try to be brave now." A funeral service will be held on Saturday.

The cause of Rebecca Rose Ferencz Duggan's death is also unknown, with widow Damien Duggan left heartbroken. Another GoFundMe page has been set up to support the family, with the target of $15,000 (£7800) has already been exceeded with over $27,000 (£14,100) of donations. Alysha Pearse who set up the 'Sudden loss of Bec' fundraiser said it’s important the financial pressure is taken off Damien, so he can put all his time into supporting his children.

The page read: "On Sunday, December 3, we were faced with the devastating news, our dearest friend, wife, mother and sister died unexpectedly. Bec was only 31 and the mother of three beautiful young children, Noah, Liam and Penelope. Bec was the kindest, funniest, most generous soul. She was an incredibly hard worker and was always the first one to be there for others.
"She means the world to so many and now our world is forever changed. We are all facing a heart breaking loss without her. As friends and family, we all witnessed the incredible love she poured into her others, and we want to ease the financial burden for family and allow Damien & family to focus their time and energy on the children."
