One woman has shared her mould-removing hack which doesn’t involve intense scrubbing and won’t break the bank.

Mould can thrive in warm damp areas where the air circulation isn’t great and usually that is bathrooms. You may have spotted black dots in window grouting, shower or bath tiles or maybe the once completely white grouting is now covered with mould.

Once mould arrives it is incredibly difficult to keep at bay or know how to tackle it and it’s incredibly stubborn. However, one woman has claimed that she has found a cheap enough solution which doesn’t involve too much elbow grease and will remove the mould in your home.

Earlier in the year in a Facebook group where cleaning enthusiasts go to share their tips, one unnamed woman shared an amazing tip with everyone. In the initial post, the woman shared a picture of her mouldy grouting pleading with members of the group for cleaning suggestions on how to make them look good as new.

The suggestions came in thick and fast, people were excited to share their ideas and tips with many advising that she use the toilet bowl cleaner on the grouting and another person simply suggested that she just re-seal the tiles. Not willing to back down, the woman tried out a few of the suggestions provided by her fellow cleaning enthusiasts.

One of the hacks did thankfully work and all it took was cotton wool and bleach to make the miracle of removing mould happen. The woman claims she soaked some of the cotton wool in the bleach and packed them all around the edges of the tiles.

She left the makeshift treatment with the cleaning product on the cotton wool overnight and by the morning, the difference was incredible. The cleaning fan reshared her original photo side by side with another picture post the cleaning treatment.

She said: "Thank you to everyone who has commented, I used cotton wool and bleach and have attached photos of the results. Wow!"

Dozens of people liked her post, with one person commenting: "This is amazing!"
