EastEnders' Dean Wicks' brutal death 'sealed' as two characters vow to kill him
A double threat in the latest episode of EastEnders may have given away the Christmas death victim, and who kills him.
Dean Wicks found himself in possible danger on Tuesday night as two characters vowed to kill him after his latest antics. It comes just weeks away from a brutal death on the BBC soap on Christmas Day, with Dean one of seven men teased as a possible victim.
While details of the death remain under wraps, fans of the soap have known for months that a mystery male character will die in the big episode this month. The crime takes place at The Queen Vic, and clues in episodes over the past year, and in the special flashforward scene that aired in February, have hinted at what goes down.
Kathy Beale, Suki Panesar, Denise Fox, Linda Carter, Stacey Slater and Sharon Watts are the suspects at the scene of the crime, with one of them set to be the killer. We have no idea who dies, but now the BBC soap has confirmed which seven names are at risk of being killed off.
These characters are Phil Mitchell, Keanu Taylor, Ravi Gulati, Dean, Nish Panesar, Rocky Cotton and Jack Branning. All seven of them are stood in the same suits with the very same cufflinks on, with a fiery backdrop in a new promo image.

A double threat in the latest episode of EastEnders may have given away the Christmas death victim (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)Dean has been tipped to die from the beginning of the plot, even way before a return was confirmed or even aired. Dean raped Linda in 2014 but got away with his crime.
After he left the soap in 2016, Dean was mentioned earlier this year in a twist that revealed he was back in contact with his mother Shirley Carter. Kathy told Linda that if Dean ever returned she and her pals would form a protective wall around her to protect her.
Dean is now back and causing drama, as he tried to convince the residents of Walford that Linda had lied about being raped, and they had had a fling. After an incident with George Knight, Linda agreed to pretend Dean had not raped her to stop George from going to prison - but vile Dean recorded this fake confession.
On Tuesday night, viewers saw him play it out to the whole pub after drama with his daughter Jade who had come to visit him. When Jade found out her dad was a sexual predator, she left and refused to see her dad again.
Moments prior to this, Linda confronted Dean after being sickened to learn he had posed for photos with her son Ollie, despite her clear instruction for him to stay away from her family. It's then that she told him if he went near her children ever again, she would kill him.
EastEnders' Dean Wicks received two chilling death threats on the BBC soap by Linda Carter and George Knight (BBC/Jack Barnes/Kieron McCarron)Later in the episode after Jade's exit, Dean stormed into the pub and played the fake recording to set up Linda. While many residents were stunned, some quickly accused Dean of forcing her to lie, seeing through Dean's plan.
As Dean tried to convince everyone Linda had lied and he was innocent, George told him to flee or he was going to kill him. With Dean one of the possible victims in the big Christmas Day episode, to have two death threats moments apart surely is a major hint at his gruesome fate.
With many fans convinced Linda will kill Dean in a showdown on Christmas Day, could the threats from Linda and George seal his fate?
