Poor Jake Humphrey suffered a harsh burn live on radio as Jamie Oliver cooked up a brutal one-liner in front of a grinning Chris Moyles.
Celebrity chef Jamie, 48, had appeared on Chris' Radio X show when he was quizzed on Jake reaching out to him over 50 times in a desperate bid to get him on his podcast show. Prior to his appearance, Jake had joined Chris as he expressed his shock that Jamie would be the next guest.
Dominic Byrne, Chris' co-host, had pointed out: "Our next guest is Jamie Oliver." He went on to ask about Jake's High Performance Podcast: "Have you had Jamie on?"
"No. Is he your next guest?" Jake asked. "Oh my goodness. I've literally reached out to Jamie Oliver about 50 times." Chris quipped: "Unbelievable! In case you don't bump into each other, I'll record this and I'll play it to him."

Next up, with Jake gone, Chris decided to quiz Jamie with some questions. "The first one comes from a man called Jake Humphrey. Okay, and it goes like this - " The recording of Jake was then played, prompting Jamie to laugh, but he responded brutally: "Absolutely not." Chris smirked and said: "Okay, brilliant. Sorry Jake!"
Fans flocked to Twitter in hysterics, with one writing: "I feel so bad for placing a photo of @jamieoliver on the university dart board all those years ago - will now urgently reassess." While another commented: "Not a fan of Oliver but he's just topped out there. Good lad." A third quipped: "Best bit of cooking he’s done in years!"
