We all dream of making the perfect roast potato with an excellent crunch, but have you ever considered supersizing one?

Potatoes are one of the most versatile foods out there, whether you make them into a creamy mash, rustle up a jacket potato or keep it classic with some crispy roasties. The options are endless, but one man has stunned people with his giant roast potato.

Attempting not to drool while taking the recipe in, other foodies say the unusual creation looks "special". An impressive take on a jacket potato, it doesn't have the skin like a jacket potato it does - instead it has a beautifully crispy exterior.

The foodie and content creator @mealswithmax shared a recent video on TikTok showing how easy it is to make. He said: "I'm sure you've all had a jacket potato, but have you had a giant roast potato? It's basically like a jacket potato but without the skin. So it's essentially a roast potato, but just a massive one."

As he shared the easy recipe, he took viewers on a step-by-step process to create the delicious roastie. He started by boiling the potato with some rosemary, thyme and garlic for 10 minutes. He then shared: "Drain it, let it steam, dry and give it a little shake to ruffle up the edges," as he drizzled salt and oil over the top and put it into the air fryer.

"Whack it into the air fryer or the oven for about half an hour or so at 200 degrees," he explained, as he then took the cooked potato out, showing the golden and crispy coating. For the topping, to make it festive, Max cooked some pigs in blankets and covered the potato in butter and cheese. He then placed the pigs in blankets on top. Heaven.

"As you can see, the bottom's nice and crispy, just like a roast potato. Go on top with some cheese, some salt, pepper and garlic seasoning, pigs in blankets, bit of honey followed by some Rosemary, thyme, and a bit of gravy," he concluded as he tucked into the mouth-watering meal.

One fan commented: "You've created something special my man," while another claimed: "My mouth is literally watering." However, others weren't sure about his choice of toppings. One woman wrote: "I loved this until you added cheese…. WITH GRAVY," and another chimed: "HONEY? GRAVY??" followed by a shocked emoji.
