Harry Kane has already made feelings clear after Man Utd bosses blocked transfer
Harry Kane has no regrets over his move to Bayern Munich in the summer, despite transfer interest from Manchester United.
The England captain, 30, was once again wanted by some of Europe's biggest clubs in the build-up to the 2023/24 campaign. United were heavily linked with Tottenham's star striker, but it's understood the Londoners had no appetite to sell their talisman to a domestic rival.
That paved the way for Bayern Munich to acquire Kane's services in a deal worth in excess of £100million. And ironically, Kane's new team was then drawn in the same Champions League group as United, setting up a swift reunion.
Kane was on the scoresheet in Bayern's thrilling 4-3 victory back in September and could end United's European hopes for good in Tuesday's reverse fixture, with Erik ten Hag's side needing a victory to keep their chances of progression alive.
Ahead of the first match, Kane made it clear that he was happy to have joined the German giants ahead of United. Speaking at a press conference back in September, he said: "Obviously over the summer I know there were some talks between a few clubs in the background, but Bayern was a team I was really interested by and really excited by, so there weren't many other discussions.

"Once they came in, it was between them and Tottenham to talk, and the deal got done. My focus is on here, obviously Manchester United are a great club, a really big club as well, but I decided to come here and I'm really happy I have."

However, the Dutchman saw such a move blocked by the Manchester United hierarchy.
Mirror Football outlined back in September that United were unable to afford the £100m fee Tottenham would demand nor the £400,000-a-week salary that a player of Kane's ilk would command.
United instead stumped up £72m to bring Rasmus Hojlund to Old Trafford in a bid to solve their No.9 problem. But the 20-year-old has so far failed to score in 12 Premier League appearances, even if he has been far more productive in Europe.
Kane has had no such problems adapting to the Bundesliga; he's scored 18 goals and registered five assists in just 13 games for Bayern. Regardless of whether or not he scores on Tuesday night, there will be an element of 'what if' when Kane graces Old Trafford again.
