There have been rumours that Prince Harry is hoping to reunite with the Royal Family, but one expert has insisted he must instead get "comfortable" with his life in America.

The Duke of Sussex and his wife Meghan Markle moved to Montecito, California, after stepping down from The Firm three years ago. The couple now live in a $14.6million (£11.8million) mansion and count the likes of Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres as their neighbours.

Despite living in sunny California, it seems Harry still feels connected to his home in the UK and recently hinted at a possible return after calling the US his home "at the moment". Royal expert Nick Bullen, however, urged him to focus more on his life in the States.

Nick also suggested Harry will focus more and more on the Invictus Games, which he founded in 2014. Speaking to Fox News Digital, Nick said: "I think Harry has an uncertain future currently. His Invictus Games are very important. I think you’ll see him be more and more involved in that in the coming years."

The royal expert said the Duke of Sussex doesn't have another area "that he has a significant stake in" and pointed out how his brother Prince William has "taken ownership" of conservation and sustainability. He added: "The king has his role as king. So what has Harry got? I think the answer is not a lot apart from, of course, his family and his children and his new life in California. I think that's what he chose.

"And I think he’s going to have to find a way of being comfortable in that California life, which is why I think he’ll focus more and more on Invictus." Nick said Harry has managed to find his "real purpose" with the Invictus Games after turning it into a "real success".

The Invictus Games is an international sporting event for "wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women" and it's something that is very close to Harry's heart. In fact, it's where he and Meghan first made their debut as a couple.

The Duke of Sussex is set to ruffle more feathers at the Invictus Games after hiring one of his brother's top employees to run the next event. Nick Booth has been drafted in as interim CEO of Vancouver and Whistler 2025, which will feature winter sports for the first time. Previously, Nick served the Prince and Princess of Wales for years and was a trusted aid to them.

A spokesperson for the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 told The Mirror: "The entire team behind the Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 is focused and diligently working to host an incredible Games in February 2025, welcoming up to 550 competitors from up to 25 Nations.

"Nick Booth has stepped in as interim CEO in support of our strong local team led by our Vancouver-based Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer. Since the award of the bid for the 2025 Games, Nick has been advising the team, and this transition allowed for a continuity of vision and no disruption to the team working to deliver the Games."
