Harry and Meghan could reunite with royals for their children, expert says
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a tense relationship with the Royal Family, but one expert believes they could be persuaded to put the feud behind them for one reason.
The couple stepped back from The Firm three years ago before moving their life to Montecito, California. Harry and Meghan last reunited with the Royal Family together at Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022, with Harry also making a brief visit to the UK for King Charles' Coronation in May of this year.
Relationship expert Louella Alderson has suggested the Sussexes could reunite with the royals again so their children can spend Christmas with their family. However, she admitted it seems unlikely.

They could reunite with the Royal Family for their childrenSpeaking exclusively to The Mirror, Louella said: "It's certainly possible for Harry and Meghan to put the past behind them and reunite with the Royal Family, especially if it means spending time with their children's extended family. However, it may not be an easy decision for them to make, as there are likely still lingering emotions and unresolved issues from the feud that seem to keep resurfacing in the media."

The relationship expert said the family could take small steps toward a reconciliation, although she said a reunion wouldn't be instant. "If Charles is ready to open his doors to Harry and Meghan after everything that has happened, he is extending an olive branch and showing his desire to mend the relationship.
"It could be a good opportunity for both sides to start working towards reconciliation and healing, even if it may not happen overnight," she explained. She added: "Ultimately, Harry and Meghan will have to make this decision for themselves and their family. They may still be pained by the past, but they could also see the value in putting it aside for their children's sake."

She added: "While it may be challenging for Harry and Meghan to set their feelings aside for the sake of their kids, it's important for them to consider the potential long-term effects on their children if they continue to keep them separated from their grandparents and cousins.
"It's often possible for people to put the past behind them and reconcile, especially when it comes to family. However, the extent of damage caused by the feud and the media attention may make it more difficult for Harry and Meghan to fully heal their relationship with the Royal Family."
The relationship expert said it would take time and effort from all involved to mend the broken relationship. She said with this, they can eventually "work towards a resolution that brings peace and positivity into their lives".
