Harry and Meghan have 'divided' King Charles and Wills over welcoming them back
Prince William and King Charles III are said to be "divided" over welcoming Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back into the British Royal Family.
The Duke of Sussex recently suggested that he would like to spend more time in the UK, which came in a statement heard by the High Court this week. In his statement during the hearing for his security trial, Harry wrote: "The UK is my home. The UK is central to the heritage of my children and a place [where] I want them to feel at home as much as where they live at the moment in the US.
"That cannot happen if it’s not possible to keep them safe when they are on UK soil," the statement went on.

An insider told the Express: "William is already planning for when he becomes king, and he doesn't see a future for the Sussexes in the Royal Family."

They went on to say that the feeling is that allowing the Sussexes back into the fold is a "bad move and they should be resigned to the fringes indefinitely".
"William is completely adamant that they [the Sussexes] shouldn't be welcomed back," the source went on to spill to the outlet, adding: "while the King thinks it would help stop the media circus surrounding the family."
This comes after it was claimed that a friend of the Waleses weighed in on Harry's suggestion of spending more time in the UK. According to The Daily Beast, the pal said: "The one saving grace of this whole situation is that they live 5,000 miles away. The idea of them coming back here will go down like a bucket of warm sick."

Last month Prince Harry is said to have had a "warm" and "polite" phone call with his father, which was around the time of his 75th birthday. It was even reported at the time that Meghan spoke to her father-in-law, with them exchanging "awkward pleasantries".
The claims of the phone call came amid a source revealing that the Sussexes would not turn down an offer to spend Christmas with the Royal Family in Sandringham this year, although this looks rather unlikely following the fallout from Omid Scobie's book Endgame.
The release week of the book saw the two senior royals who raised "concerns" and had "conversations" about the colour of Prince Archie's skin before he was born accidentally named in a Dutch translation of the scathing new book as Princess Kate and King Charles.
