I'm A Celebrity sparked a flurry of concern when a campmate seemed to go 'missing' during the latest episode.
Fans of the popular This Morning presenter Josie Gibson were left puzzled when she was noticeably absent from scenes around the camp on Thursday night (December 7). Viewers began to worry about where Josie could be, especially after she found herself in the bottom two in Wednesday night's eviction vote.
Ant and Dec, the show's presenters, kept viewers in suspense before revealing that the fourth celebrity to leave the jungle was Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard. Despite this, fans were still concerned about Josie's whereabouts, wondering if there had been an editing mistake or if something else had happened.
Fans wondered where Josie was as she hardly appeared in the episode (ITV)Taking to X (formerly Twitter ), one viewer asked: "Where's Josie?" Others joined in, with one saying: "I'm so confused as to where Josie is?? Have they messed up with the editing and she's already gone home?" Another added: "Where the hell is Josie?" And a fourth echoed: "Where is Josie?"
Viewers were left puzzled, with one asking: "Where's Josie tonight?", and another querying: "What's happened to Josie?" Fans of I'm A Celeb were taken aback when Josie was in the bottom two before Nick's departure. However, the rules of the show were clarified on ITV's morning lifestyle programme, Lorraine.

Lorraine Kelly, the 64 year old host of the show, shed some light on the situation: "That doesn't mean that she was last? It can be anybody because they say it 'might be you'. So everybody shouldn't worry about Josie, I don't think." Richard Arnold, ITV's showbiz reporter, responded: "No they shouldn't worry and it's one thing the friends and family sort of think of when they see the crestfallen looks on their loved ones when they're in camp.
"It's in no particular order so another person is always thrown in the mix, if you like, to stir the pot." He added: "If you remember, way back when, Harry Redknapp was on the odd occasion: 'It could be you' and of course he triumphed at the end [in 2018]. So don't read too much into that!"
However, Josie will be missing out on one important feature of the show. The campmates are set to get a visit from their family and friends, but Josie will miss out on seeing her son Reggie. It is understood ITV may have been planning for the loved ones to go into camp as a surprise for the remaining five contestants. But ITV has strict health and safety laws about using the footbridges and going into camp.
This would rule out a five-year-old being able to go in. Instead, it is thought Josie's best friend Mia Williams would be the one to greet her in camp. A show source told The Mirror: "Getting the loved ones into camp as a surprise always makes for great footage. The letters from home are emotional but seeing them reunited is even better. It is a real shame Reggie is not allowed into camp but hopefully for Josie her friend Mia can reassure her what a great time Reggie is having in Australia if he is not allowed in. It should make for some great footage on Friday's show."
