EastEnders fans were left puzzled by an 'odd' voiceover blunder on the BBC soap tonight.
At the start of tonight's episode, Phil Mitchell doubled down on his accusations about Karen Taylor and her part in the kidnap of Sharon's son Albie. She and Keanu had put together the plan but tonight, when Phil accused them, Karen covered for her son and told him it was all her idea - and that Keanu had no idea about it, something which he went along with.
As the rest of the Vic reacted to what happened, Karen was looking nervously around when Elaine could be heard shouting: "Filth, that's what you are - filth!" in what was clearly a voiceover.
A rogue voiceover had fans confused (BBC)Noticing the error, one fan wrote: "Obsessed with voiceover Elaine calling Karen filth #EastEnders," whilst a second added: "One negative from tonight’s #EastEnders - Elaine’s voiceover in the pub. It sounded like a voiceover."
"Elaine’s voiceover was annoying," another fan penned, whilst a fourth viewer wrote: "That was so odd, they didn’t try to blend her voice in at all." A fifth took to social media as they commented: "That voiceover! A mistake there."

This is likely to form part of Karen Taylor's exit storyline after Lorraine Stanley was booted from the soap. Asked about her exit, she said: "I was sad, it was a mix of emotions, it's sad but it's exciting as now I can go and do what I want. I just want people to remember her as the best mum on the square, a heart of gold, she'd give you her last fiver and would do anything for her kids - a bit like myself."
