Emmerdale viewers will see some festive drama this year on the ITV soap.
As Christmas Day arrives there could be all kinds of drama, given what's been going on recently. From a new baby's arrival to possible danger for some, it's definitely a busy Christmas this year.
But some viewers have been left disappointed after the news there would be a change to the show's schedule this Christmas Day. Instead of the normal hour-long visit to the Dales, we will only have 30 minutes of action this time around.
We haven't had a shorter episode of the show on Christmas Day for years, possibly since 2004, so fans aren't sure what to expect from it. Here's when the episode will air, and what you can expect.

It seems there's a mixture of dark scenes and joyful moments as Christmas hits the village. Mackenzie is still missing after his kidnap horror, while over at Butlers there's a charged moment for Tracy and Caleb amid their secret affair.
There's also tension between Marlon and Gus, but the festivities are soon back on track. Belle's attempts to propose to Tom are scuppered yet again.
